International showjumper, Tim Stockdale, gave a lecture and demonstration to an audience of close to 450 people in the new galleried seating area of Nottingham Trent University's Brackenhurst Equestrian Centre on what must have been one of the coldest nights of the year.

During the event the British Show Jumping Association (BSJA) board member explained the techniques required for successful show jumping and demonstrated using his own horses from a young inexperienced 5 year old to his international horse, Fresh Direct Pircolando M.

What people said ...

"Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed yesterday evening, despite the cold. Tim Stockdale is always entertaining and informative, and we took away lots of things to think about! Thanks to everyone involved for a very well run event."

"Just to say how fab last night was. It's not often you can listen to someone for 3 hours and not be bored at all, even in the freezing cold it was worth it. We will definitely want tickets for the next two events! Are they available yet?"

"Well done Jill and team, I thought last night went really well. Although the cold weather got the better of me after a very long day I thought it was excellent - the venue, the organized parking, the catering and of course Tim and his horses. I think you've filled a gap by bringing such demo's to this area. Can't wait for the Richard Davison demo, please let me know when tickets are on sale. Good luck with all future projects."

"Please can you pass the message on to Tim Stockdale that his demo was fantastic, it was very informative and very entertaining (wish there were more like him!). Thank you for holding the evening."

"We really enjoyed the evening. Tim is certainly an entertainer and even if you were not a rider, you would have been amused."

"Thank you for an extremely well run event. No stone was left unturned in the organisation and we really enjoyed the evening."

"A most enjoyable night"

"I think the whole thing went really well last night - I have heard nothing but positive feedback from many people in different areas. I think you did a sterling job. Well done"
